The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, begins his visit to Chile and is received at La Moneda Palace for the protocol ceremony, headed by the President of the Republic, Gabriel Boric Font. and is received with military honors by the Presidential Escort Regiment No. 1 Grenadiers and the Palace Guard. In addition, both Presidents will lead the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on Strategic Cooperation for the creation of the Franco-Chilean Binational Center on Artificial Intelligence between the Ministry of Science, Technology, Knowledge and Innovation of Chile and the Institut National de Recherche en Informatique et en Automatique (INRIA) of France.
